Heloise’s Tip: Removing Candle Wax From Carpet

This is a very helpful tip from my friend Heloise.

Fill a metal pan with ice cubes. Place the pan right on top of the candle wax and leave it until the wax is frozen solid. Then hit the frozen wax with a small hammer to break it up. Pick or vacuum up the pieces. Put dry-cleaning solvent on a clean cloth to remove any residue.
